Valiantys goes down under with Atlassian

Last month, Valiantys was invited to spend a week with the Atlassian team in sunny Sydney.

This was to celebrate being recognised as members of Atlasssian’s exclusive Charlie Club for the third year running. This accolade celebrates Atlassian’s top global expert partners leading the way in performance, and was announced at last year’s Atlasssian Summit in San Francisco.

During the week we got up to speed on Atlasssian’s business priorities for the year ahead, as well as finding out what’s on the cards in terms of development for JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence and Bitbucket. We were lucky enough to attend a range of sessions across all facets of the business, from customer development to product management, spending time with a range of executives, product managers and general managers.

It wasn’t all work, though, and we were pleased as punch to come home with a shiny new trophy – this one for winning the sailing regatta. Our team of Atlasssian partners battled it out against two competitors in Sydney’s beautiful harbour (with a skipper to help navigate the tricky path of cruise liners, admittedly), emerging victorious at the finish line. We also enjoyed was a celebratory dinner with Atlasssian founders and CEOs Mike Cannon-Brookes and Scott Farquhar – definitely a highlight of the trip!

We also couldn’t resist squeezing in a trip to Taronga Zoo to say g’day to the local natives.

We’ll leave it to Atlasssian to share the details of its latest and greatest product developments with you, but in the meantime, take a look inside the team’s swanky Sydney office, and at the highlights of our time down under.

Here’s to more success with Atlasssian at this year’s summit!
