The Atlassian Summit is always a great opportunity to meet customers and Expert partners, listen to their organisations’ needs, learn how they use our add-ons and share our vision for nFeed, Spreadsheets, PowerReport and Exocet.

I am always amazed by how JIRA admins and Expert consultants use nFeed to improve the way teams work with JIRA. Thus I have asked Eric Salonen, Atlassian Solutions Expert at Ambientia, to share with us his experience using nFeed.

Data integration : an opportunity for smarter JIRA configurations

As an Atlassian Expert, Ambientia offers its customers consulting, assistance in processes, Atlassian software licencing and support as needed. They are often involved in JIRA deployments where integrating Atlassian softwares with existing tools is essential for the organisation.

There comes nFeed.

Since discovering it in 2012, Ambientia consultants have been using it extensively to customise their clients applications : accessing external databases to display projects information in JIRA, querying CRM system to facilitate agents work on Service Desk tickets, maintain data integrity… and much more!

In this video, you will learn how Atlassian Experts use nFeed to:

  • cover customer requirements they could not fulfill otherwise in JIRA with nFeed custom fields.
  • configure views, custom fields and integrations to match the exact processes and needs of companies they consult for –  in Service Desks and beyond.
  • maintain data integrity, and spare end users from manually filling information already available in the system.
  • build an integrated experience in JIRA for their customers.

You will also get insights on how they plan to deploy it internally to enhance their own Service Desk.

Your turn to play with nFeed?

Hopefully, this testimonial helped you better understand what nFeed can do for your organisation. Why not give it a try?

Like I always say, looking at others play can be interesting, but it’s only when you try the game that you know if it’s right for you.
